Brown Trout

My name is Inge Rønning, and I’m a proud member of Rapala Proguide Norway. For nearly 20 years, my greatest passion has been targeting trophy trout in rivers. My heart belongs to what may be Norway’s finest trout river — the Mistra. This wild and beautiful river stretches for nearly 30 kilometers through untouched wilderness. As early as May and June, large trout begin their migration upstream from Lake Storsjøen, creating outstanding opportunities for anglers seeking truly big fish. The river offers incredible variety, from powerful rapids and deep pools to calm, slow-moving stretches in the upper sections — perfect habitat for large, wild trout. Take a look at my profile to see some of my catches. If you want to experience world-class trout fishing in one of Norway’s most beautiful rivers, I’d be happy to guide you to the spots where the big trout live.

Hi, my name is Marcin. I live in Norway and fishing has been my passion for many years. Through Go Fishing Norway I organize small, authentic fishing adventures in the beautiful nature of Southern Norway. My trips are a little different from typical fishing charters in the north. Here it’s not only about catching fish – it’s about relaxing, slowing down and experiencing the wild Norwegian nature. Crystal clear water, quiet fjords, small islands and fresh Nordic air create the perfect place to reset your mind and enjoy fishing the way it should be
