Javier's story

Javier Leppe is the founder and guide behind Pristine Waters, working out of Punta Arenas across Magallanes and Chilean Tierra del Fuego. He fishes walk-and-wade with small private groups, run by run. His most distinctive offer is Chinook — king — salmon in the Río Grande area of Chilean Tierra del Fuego, a fishery almost nobody sells to international clients, alongside sea-run brown trout in the same region and resident browns in the Magallanes spring creeks.
