Dan's story

Guiding since 2011, I've spent well over a decade putting anglers on fish across some of Sweden's most iconic waters. Under the FiskeDan brand, I run fishing experiences on Lake Mälaren, the Stockholm Archipelago, Lake Vänern, Lake Vättern, Kalmarsund and all the way up to Lapland — so wherever you want to fish in Sweden, I've likely been there. My sessions focus mainly on pike and perch, two species I never get tired of chasing. The archipelago and the big Swedish lakes offer incredible opportunities for both, and I know exactly where to find them at different times of year. Whether you're after a trophy pike or want to experience the thrill of perch fishing in the Stockholm Archipelago, I'll get you there on my dedicated guide boat. I guide solo anglers, groups, families and complete beginners. For me, the best part of the job is seeing someone light up when they hold their first big pike.
